Artistas oriundos de todos os pontos geográficos foram convidados a visitar a morada parisiense de Mademoiselle Chanel, bem como os ateliês onde são fabricadas as bolsas Chanel, acessório emblemático da marca. A partir dessa visita tiveram carta branca para criar obras inspiradas nos elementos que fundamentam a identidade das bolsas, uma releitura dos valores e linguagem visual de Chanel. O projeto artístico é composto por instalações, esculturas, fotografias, áudio e vídeo. Cada visitante recebe um MP3 que o guia mentalmente por uma música criada com a colaboração de cada um dos artistas, uma mescla de melodias originais e uma
grande variedade de vozes e sons ambientais. Desta forma torna-se uma experiência única, misturando arquitetura, arte, criação sonora e moda. A exposição já passou por Hong Kong,
Tokyo e atualmente está em New York, passará por Londres e Moscou em 2009 e chegará à Paris em 2010. No site do evento não deixem de conferir os making of Tokio e Hong Kong que mostram a construção do prédio, é fantástico!
